DESCRIPTION
Sucralose is an artificial sweetener and sugar substitute. It is known under the E number E955.
The sucralose was produced by chlorination of sucrose.
RELATIVE SWEETNESS
It is about 600 times sweeter than sucrose.

Sucralose has been accepted as safe by several national and international food safety regulatory bodies. the amount of sucralose that can be consumed over a person's lifetime without any adverse effects is 9 mg per kg of body weight per day
