Advantage Description

The product is colorless transparent liquid. It is prepared by the reaction of phosphorus trichloride with oxygen at the temperature of 20-50 °C. It reacts violently with water and incompatible with many metals, alcohols, amines, phenol, dmso and strong bases. It can be used for preparation of diphenyl-ethylhexyl ester, phosphate, plasticizer, organic pesticide and long-acting sulfa drugs. It also is used as dye intermediates, chlorinating agent and catalyst for organic synthesis.
