Advantage Description

Mica can be peeled into razor-thin flexible flake and it has large radius-thickness ratio and high resilience. Meanwhile the obvious features of mica are resisting to acid, alkali, high temperature (above 600℃), abrasiveness and insulating electricity. In addition, the chemical composition and structure of sericite are similar to Kaolin, it can be dispersed or suspended in an aqueous medium. Rubber Grade Mica was processed by advanced ground and classified process from natural mica ores, which is split into very thin flakes with stable physical and chemical properties (Specific Gravity: 2.6—2.7; Mohs Hardness: 2–3; High Temperature Resistance: over 600℃). Grea Rubber Grade Mica has perfect toughness, good electrical insulation, good wear resistance, excellent acid & alkali-resistance and large radius-thickness ratio (>80).
