According to the data from China Customs, China has exported 2,750,000 MT of diammonium phosphate (DAP) in the first half of 2019, seeing a 10.4% increase from the same period of last year.

According to the data shown below, China’s monthly DAP exports in the first four months of 2019 are much higher than that of 2018. Though DAP export in May and June are lower than the same period of 2018, the total DAP exports in the first half year of 2019 are still higher than that of 2018.

China’s DAP export has seen a 36.1% drop in June compared to the period of 2018 Due to the falling demand in India and Pakistan. In 2019, India's DAP stocks are growing further, rising to about 1.9 million tons in June. Therefore, it only imports 626,000 MT DAP from China, much lower than 1,060,000MT in June 2018.

India, Thailand and Pakistan are the top 3 DAP importers from China in June, accounting for 47%, 11% and 8% respectively in China’s total DAP export this month.
