Last week, OKCHEM Mexico team visited ANIQ, the most renowned chemical association in Mexico. With a long history of about 60 years in chemical industry, ANIQ has gathered 90% of the industry resources in Mexico and has become the biggest organization with the most influence in this South American country.
ANIQ is dedicated to enhancing the global competitiveness of the entire chemical industry, expanding its influence and promoting the sustainable development of the chemical industry in Mexico.
In this visit, Mr. Ramon Estrada Villaverde, the PR director of ANIQ and two of his coworkers met us and provided a lot of information about the chemical industry in Mexico. And we were also told about the different services and various promotional channels like magazine and meeting etc, ANIQ could provide. Through our conversation, we got to know that they will hold a large event, the National Chemical Industry Forum (Foro Nacional de la Industria Química), during Oct.18-Oct.19, which is the most magnificent gathering in Mexican chemical industry.
After the first pleasant visit, our OKCHEM team in Mexico paid another visit to ANIQ this week on September 11, 2018 in order to get more information about the forum..During the second visit, ANIQ showed us more details about this meeting, including but not limited to how to take part in it, who will be present, and what themes will be involved in the forum.
As far as we know, there will be many key person in the industry talking many professional topics, for example key elements to sustainable economic development, a picture of actions to achieve diversity in Mexico’s export needs, increase Mexican exports to Asia etc,.
OKCHEM will attend the two-day event (Oct.18-Oct.19), and expect to help the OKCHEM suppliers and buyers explore more business opportunities in Mexico through the event. Stay tuned, more highlights will come soon.
