The domestic titanium dioxide market in China has fulfilled the forecast of “increasing for the whole year” this month. Many producers raised prices of titanium dioxide in the beginning of this month, especially after Sichuan Lomon and Billions raised prices of TiO2 for ￥1000/tonne in the first half of this month, the domestic titanium dioxide market was inspired greatly so that most of the TiO2 producers in China followed up the price increase initials by an average of ￥1000-1500/tonne.

Till now, the prices in domestic anatase titanium dioxide market have broken an edge to a new level. The prices of domestic anatase TiO2 market raised obviously to a high level at ￥12600-13800/tonne in this month. The main contract prices for rutile titanium dioxide this month has increased to ￥14600-15800/tonne.

Many advantages will be brought by this price hike, which is based on the increasing of raw materials, tight spot supply of producers, and the continuous price increase initials from main global titanium dioxide producers.
