On January 7, Gpro Titanium Industry Co.,Ltd, which is mainly engaged in titanium dioxide, issued a price increase announcement. From January 7, the sales price of rutile and anatase titanium dioxide of the company was increased by 500 yuan (around USD 80)/ ton for China domestic customers and 80 dollars / ton for international customers on the basis of the original price.

Coincidentally, on January 2, Tianyuan Group issued a price adjustment letter for titanium dioxide. From January 3, on the basis of the original sales price, the company increased the sales price of titanium dioxide products of different grades in by 1000 yuan (around USD 150) / ton to 2000 yuan (around USD 300)/ ton in the China domestic market. While, on the basis of the original sales price, the international market of titanium dioxide of different grades from the company would be increased by 160 dollars / ton to 300 dollars / ton.

"From January 1, the selling price of CR series titanium dioxide by chlorination process will be increased. The price for the domestic market will be increased by 1000 yuan (around USD 150)/ ton, and the price for the overseas market will be increased by 140 US dollars / ton." The price increase letter of CITIC titanium industry is known as the first increase in the new year, which not only leads the price increase of titanium dioxide industry in the new year, but also exceeds the previous increase.

According to statistics, since this year, more than 10 titanium dioxide enterprises, including CITIC titanium, Chengdu vanadium titanium and haifengxin, have issued price adjustment letters.
