According to Thai Customs, Thailand has exported 257,641 MT of natural rubber (HS 4001: natural rubber, balata, gutta-percha, guayule, chicle and similar natural gums, in primary forms or in plates, sheets or strip) in May of 2019. In the first five months of 2019, a total of 1,376,667 MT natural rubber have been exported from Thailand, seeing a 8.2% decrease compared with the same period of 2018.
The natural rubber (HS 4001) exported from Thailand in the first five months of 2019 has shown a decreasing trend in general. Besides the export in March 2019, the monthly export quantity in 2019 is lower than that of 2018 in the first five months.

In May 2019, the natural rubber export value is about 11,450 million Baht and the total export value in the first five months is 55,447 million Baht, seeing a 14.1% decrease from 64,555 million Baht during the same period of 2018.
The monthly export value of Thailand’s natural rubber in the first five months of 2019 is kept about 11,000 million Baht, much lower than the same period of the earlier year although the export value in March is a little higher than that of 2018.

According to the dashboard from Thai Customs, the export value of HS 4001 in the first five months of 2019 has shown a stable path at lower level than the previous three years.

China, Malaysia and United States are the top three export markets for Thailand’s natural rubber which account for more than 50% in the total export value in the first five months of 2019, with the share at 35.1%, 14.1% and 8.8% respectively.
