Main application direction of functional food in Japan

 

1. Intestinal health

Lactobacillus / Bifidobacterium is the most widely used raw material in the field of intestinal health, among which the strains with claims of improving intestinal function include Lactobacillus k-1 (L. casei 327), Bacillus cogulans sank70258, Bifidobacterium bb536, Bifidobacterium n708, etc.
