Nowadays, during the production of ground heating pipes, those most popular materials in China are PEX, PE-RT, PPR and PB, etc. as a polymer inert polymer, PB is one of the most sophisticated chemical materials in the world.
The new material PB-A has excellent creep properties and high chemical stability. And it is not only resistant to aging and corrosion resistance, but also is good at against high and low temperature and bear strong pressure, it is obvious that this new material is better than PB. Besides, the setting time for PB-A is 3-5 days, which means, compared with traditional PB, the time has been shorterned by 57%, and according to its characteristics, PB-A is a perfect material for insulation coating of submarine or underground cables and optical cables.
At present the resources of olefin are rich at home and abroad, but the principal application area of this resources is limited to low-end products. Thanks to this new breakthrough in technology, it’s possible to extend olefin resources to high value-added products in the future.
