With the depreciation of RMB , the zero export tariff policy and the "One Belt And One Road" policy, the export of NPK fertilizer in China has increased rapidly this year, In addition, with the development of domestic technology and the improvement of product quality, the import quantity of NPK fertilizer has shown a decrease.

According to
customs statistics, from January to July 2019, China's exports of NPK
fertilizers reached 544,700 tons, up by 214% from the same period last year.
The average monthly price from January to July was 318 USD/ton, down by 27.89%
from the same period last year.
From the perspective of export regions, China's NPK fertilizer has been mainly exported to 92 countries and regions. Myanmar and the Philippines are the largest export markets which account for about 80% of the total NPK export.
Although the NPK compound fertilizer has overcapacity in China, there is still an annual import of 1 million tons high-end compound NPK fertilizers from other countries. But in recent years, as the development of domestic new fertilizer, the improvement of technology production, import presents a downward trend.

According to
customs statistics, from January to July in 2019, China's total import of
compound fertilizer was 875,000 tons, down by 1.69% compared with the same
period of last year. The average import price from January to July in 2019 was
487 USD/ton, down by 6.80% compared with the average price of last year.

From the
perspective of import countries, China's
NPK fertilizer are imported from Norway, Russia and other 30 countries and
regions.
Norway, Russia,
Belgium and Finland are the major NPK fertilizer exporters to China. According
to China Customs, from January to July 2019, China imported 308,200 tons of NPK
fertilizer from Norway, 207,000 tons of NPK fertilizers from the Russian Federation,
and 171,300 tons from Belgium, accounting for 35.22%, 23.68% and 19.57% respectively in the total NPK fertilizer
import.
