On Oct.4, OKCHEM visited the Egyptian Exporters Association, ExpoLink (EEA), and this visit not only provided us with the latest Egyptian industrial market information, but also provided us with the possibilities of cooperation in the local market.
Egyptian Exporters Association, ExpoLink (EEA), is a non for profit private sector association founded in 1997 by the Egyptian private sector, which aims to help Egyptian exporters to explore overseas markets through the strength of the association, covering export promotion, export facilitation, market intelligence, marketing assistance, technical assistance, etc.
In this visit, we met the executive director of the EEA, Shady Amin and had a in-depth conversation about the topics relevant to Egyptian industrial market.
As the CEO, Mr. Shady Amin goes on business trips to China frequently. Based on his rich experience and understanding about the market of Egypt and China, Mr. Shady said that the previous model was that China purchased some raw materials from Egypt at lower prices, and then exported them to Egypt after deep processing. Now they want to change this model, so now they are committed to attracting Chinese companies to directly invest in Egypt and then export Egyptian products to neighboring countries in the Middle East and Africa.
After knowing our B2B platform, Mr. Shady is very happy to cooperate with us and hopes to work together to make the Egyptian chemical market go global. As a leading B2B platform in chemical industry, OKCHEM is always dedicated to looking for the best matched buyer or supplier for our customers and providing them customized services to improve their global business.
