On March 5, 2019, our representatives in
Pakistan, Thomas and his colleagues paid a visit to the Pakistan Poultry Association
(PPA), with the purpose of making a survey of the demand and use of feed
additives and poultry drugs in the Pakistan market.
Founded in 1962, PPA(Pakistan Poultry Association)
is headquartered in Islamabad, with the Office of the North Zone situated at
Lahore whereas the office of the South Zone located at Karachi. Currently,
about 150 members spread across the country.
Indeed, poultry industry has very strong
roots in Pakistan as we just can’t see our dinner or lunch without chicken.
That’s the main reason that the poultry industry flourished in last few decades
and today enjoys the status of the second largest industry of Pakistan after

is to promote and protect all poultry interests relating to production,
distribution, merchandising and consumption of poultry and poultry products,
which is highly valued by the government.
This special visit was warmly accepted by
Mr. Fida Hussain, Manager of Southern Zone, who is mainly responsible for communicating
with the government. We are deeply impressed by his hospitality and his fluent oral
English in the visit.
“Generally, the Association will hold two
activities every year, mainly aiming at spreading knowledge of poultry to
farmers and promote our products. Besides, we also assist large-scale companies
to hold the International Poultry Expo”, said Fida Hussain.
After having a general knowledge of our
company and service, he showed an expectation of further cooperation with us,
and expressed his willingness to build a bridge for us with relevant suppliers in
Pakistan, because he firmly believed that quite an amount of member companies would
be attracted by our great service, and offered us the directories of all
companies which produce chicken feeds.He also expressed warm welcome to the Chinese
suppliers who want to expand their feed and poultry drugs business in Pakistan
In this visit, we also talked about the demand
and use of avilamycin in the Pakistan market, Mr. Fida Hussain, suggested that
we visit their association's office in Lahore, where the poultry industry
is relatively dense, and the persons in charge are more familiar with the
industry and products. We are expecting next visit in Lahore.
